Privacy policy

This website is operated by Original Mind Pty Ltd. In this policy, "I", "me" and "my" refer to Original Mind Pty Ltd and Joe Niland.

I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What I collect

I only collect information you give me or that's needed to run the site:

• Your name, email address, business details and anything else you enter when you apply, request an assessment or book a call
• The content of emails and messages you send me
• Recordings and transcripts of calls, only if you agree to the call being recorded
• Anonymous usage data about visits to this site, such as pages viewed and the country a visit came from

How I use it

I use your information to reply to you, assess whether I can help, provide the services you've engaged me for, and send invoices. I use anonymous usage data to understand which pages people find useful.

I don't sell your information.

Services that handle your information

I use the following providers to run this site and my business. Each one processes information on my behalf under its own privacy policy.

• Tally runs the application and assessment request forms.
• TidyCal handles call bookings. If you pay when you book, the payment is processed by TidyCal's payment provider and I don't receive your card details.
• Google provides Google Meet for calls, stores call recordings and transcripts, and serves the fonts on this site. Loading the fonts sends your IP address to Google.
• Cloudflare hosts this site and provides Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites.
• Google Search Console shows me aggregated data about how people find this site in Google search. It doesn't identify individual visitors.

These providers may store information outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe.

Cookies

This site doesn't set cookies. The embedded Tally forms and the TidyCal booking page may set their own cookies when you use them.

How long I keep it

I keep your information for as long as I need it to work with you and to meet my legal and tax obligations. After that, I delete it. You can ask me to delete a call recording at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it or have it deleted.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, email me first and I'll try to fix it. If that doesn't resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Policy changes will be published on this page with the corresponding date of update.
